3 things I found when I looked at your business online

Your business is called "AK Pressure Washing." When someone in Macquarie Park searches for "solar panel cleaning" or "window cleaning near me" — Google doesn't know you offer those. Your listing name and categories tell Google what you do. Right now, they only signal pressure washing.

You just invested in solar cleaning equipment. You're expanding into window cleaning. But Google doesn't know that yet — so you're getting zero of those searches.

  • Open Google Maps → search your business → tap "Edit Profile"

  • Go to "Business description" → add these words: "We also provide solar panel cleaning and window cleaning across Northern Sydney including Macquarie Park, Ryde, and Meadowbank."
  • Save. Google will start indexing you for those searches within 2–4 weeks.

Your 5.0 star average is genuinely excellent — that's the quality proof. But Google's map ranking cares heavily about the number of reviews, not just the rating. The businesses in the top 3 for any cleaning search in your area typically have 50–120 reviews.

  • Go to your Google Business Profile → tap "Get more reviews" → copy your unique review link
  • Text every past customer personally: "Hey [name], it's [your name] from AK Cleaning. If I did a good job for you, could you leave a quick Google review? Here's the link — takes 30 seconds. Really appreciate it."
  • Target: 15 new reviews in 7 days. That alone could move you from #15 to top 8.
  • After every future job: send the same text within 1 hour of finishing. Make it a habit.

Every missed call is a job going to a competitor
This week

When you're on a job and your phone goes to voicemail, here's what happens: 85% of people who hit voicemail don't leave a message and don't try again. They call the next result on Google. That job is gone — and you never knew it happened.

If you're getting 8–10 calls a week (a reasonable estimate at your level), and 3–4 go to voicemail while you're working, that's 2–3 missed jobs per week. At your job values, that's potentially $1,500–$2,500/month walking out the door silently.

  • Change your voicemail message to: "Thanks for calling AK Cleaning. I'm on a job right now and will text you back within the hour. Or text this number and I'll get back to you straight away."
  • This alone signals responsiveness and keeps the lead warm.
